Hello All! We are Jarom and Katie!
We grew up in Colorado and Idaho. We met in college in Idaho and got married in 2006. Jarom was a local and took me to all the best hangouts, and I impressed him with my burned CD collection. (Ahh, the 2000s, where no one paid for music!) We moved to Colorado after college to start our own business.
In 2015 Jarom started talking about renovating a vintage Airstream and sold me on the idea. (If anyone has looked up Airstream Renovations on Pinterest, you’ll understand the appeal.) We bought a 1963 Airstream and spent the winter of 2015-2016 renovating it. We definitely learned some lessons along the way, but had it up and running in time for summer. Then in 2017 we made some changes to the walls, flooring, couch and bed... which essentially meant we rebuilt the whole thing. It definitely went faster the second time, thank goodness. Renovating the airstream was so much fun!! And having a comfortable place to stay when we were camping made such a big difference in the time we were able to spend away from home.
In 2019 we took a drive through Yellowstone with the Airstream, which was absolutely beautiful, but we got discouraged that we weren’t able to stop at all the smaller spots because we couldn’t take the trailer into the small and crowded parking lots. That’s when we really started considering building a campervan. As we were looking around at different campervans we noticed other countries had van rentals but here there wasn’t much out there. Campervans are the best way to see the country! So we decided we had to start a company to share it with everyone.
